What is one event in your childhood had the greatest effect on your life?

During high school, I found myself joking around with a classmate, pretending to lead an English class. Surprisingly, when the teacher entered the room, he allowed us to continue teaching every Friday for the rest of the semester. This experience helped me overcome my fear of public speaking.

If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?

If I weren’t in this profession, I’d likely be a boat captain, guiding tourists on deep-sea fishing expeditions.

Where’s the most unusual place you have visited?

A random truck stop on I 90 somewhere between Seattle and Spokane that served the best breakfast I have ever had.
