I am passionate about doing things others say can't be done, and cultivating a talented and creative team of professionals.
I came to the elevator industry organically, having started as an elevator installation helper as a university summer job. Fresh out of university though, I decided to pursue mining consulting for the first three years of my career. However, I was inevitably drawn back to the elevator industry, with its technological diversity, and new challenges presenting themselves regularly. I have never looked back and am motivated every day about what we do at GUNN.
I am passionate about doing things others say can’t be done, and cultivating a talented and creative team of professionals. I relish being unique in our approach, and growing and developing as a group while doing it.
The “lesson from mom” that I live by today is that balance and consistency are keys to personal and professional fulfillment. Attainment of goals and new ideas are concepts which must be counterbalanced with the practical, daily rituals of getting things done.
