Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish. – Steve Jobs

Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?

I was born and raised in Hong Kong. While Hong Kong will always be my secondary home, in pursuit of personal and professional growth, I chose Canada as my new home. This large country holds many promises and opportunities for my growth. I look forward to achieving and overcoming new challenges that I will come to face in this new chapter.

What would be impossible for you to give up?

Sports. I have always been a big fan of being on the field and doing physical things. I have not done many different sports seriously, apart from basketball, but I am confident in my ability to pick up a new sport quickly. Nowadays, I tend to rely more on the gym. But I will never be able give up doing at least one type of sport.

How do you want to be remembered?

I want to be remembered as a problem-solver. I want this to be my greatest skill at the end of my journey. In my opinion, being a problem-solver is one of the most important aspects of being an engineer. Many different sub-skills such as adaptability, time management, decision-making, etc. need to be developed to make an efficient problem-solver. Therefore, I always strive to further develop this skill and become a competent problem-solver in all personal and professional environments.
