If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?

I’d probably be a graphic designer. It’s funny because, as a kid, I wasn’t really into art. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve started seeing it in a completely different way. I love sketching people and capturing how I see them. The best part is watching their reaction when they see the finished sketch, it brings them so much joy, and that’s incredibly rewarding. For me, sketching is peaceful. It slows down, clears my mind, and expresses creativity in a way that words sometimes can’t.

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I’d spend a week in British Columbia. I’ve already been there once, but it’s one of those places I’d happily go back to again and again. BC makes my inner child happy because it has so many landscapes I always dreamed of seeing in person. There’s something about being surrounded by mountains, forests, and nature that makes me feel completely at peace. Whether it’s hiking, exploring small towns, or just taking in the scenery, BC is the kind of place where I can truly relax and recharge.

What’s your favourite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

A perfect weekend for me is a balance of staying active and slowing down. I’ll usually start with a workout or a run, grab a matcha, and then head out to explore a new neighborhood or spend some time outdoors. I also enjoy learning a new language and trying new recipes in the kitchen. I like having a calm Sunday afternoon to relax and recharge before the week begins.
