How did you arrive at GUNN? What path brought you here?
I started as a co-op back in 2021 in the Modernization and INR team. This was when I first started working in the vertical transportation industry. This experience gave me insight into the world of elevators and escalators and where I got to work on projects from residential to healthcare. I enjoyed the fast pace of consulting work and how I was doing something new every day, leading me to apply for a full-time position after I graduated!
Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?
I grew up in Calgary and moved to Vancouver to attend University. I love the warmer weather, close proximity to nature, and the large amount of food options, encouraging me to stay in Vancouver to start my professional career.
What’s your favourite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?
I like to sleep in a little bit, then go explore all the food and restaurants in the Lower Mainland. I love trying out new restaurants and going to the limited-time food events.

Adam has been with GUNN since 2023 after completing his co-op at GUNN in 2021. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2023 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering. He is a registered Engineer-in-Training. Adam is a Project Engineer at GUNN working on a variety of New Construction projects in British Columbia.
