You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. - Wayne Gretzky

What one event in your childhood had the greatest effect on your life?

Travelling to places such as New York, Toronto, etc. sparked my interest in civil engineering as it was very fascinating to me how different all of the structures were depending on the time they were built and their location. Without going on those trips and seeing all of their architecture, I don’t think my interest would have been nearly close to what it is today for civil engineering.

Who have you worked with in the past? And what have you done for them?

Previously, I have worked at the Site C Dam in Fort St. John working for Peace River Hydro Partners. I was a part of the quality control team where we conducted various types of concrete and soil testing, both in the lab and on the field. Some non-engineer related jobs consist of Data Entry Attendant at Integrative Healing Arts, Asset Recovery with Ritchie Bros and Food Concession Attendant at the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE).

What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

Being with family and friends has always been a priority for enjoying my weekend. Throughout my childhood, I have always watched almost every Canuck game with my family and I always try to continue the tradition. I also enjoy playing sports with my friends on the weekend which consists of volleyball, Spikeball, mountain biking, hiking, etc.
