Whenever there is a gap between your habits and your goals, your habits will always win. – James Clear

What are you know for professionally? What do you have a knack for?

In my professional career, I am known for a few key principles that have shaped my success and approach:

  1. Building Trust: I have learned that people do business with those they trust, rather than simply those they like. Trust is earned through actions, and it must be genuine. I prioritize listening and understanding issues from my client’s perspective, which helps me quickly establish a strong foundation to help resolve their problems.
  2. Collective Success: I’ve come to understand that the idea of “win-win” still implies two separate sides. Instead, I focus on “just win”, which emphasizes a collective perspective. By deeply understanding the client’s needs and goals, I strive to achieve success together, ensuring both parties reach their objectives in a unified manner.

What are you passionate about personally? What can’t you stop talking about?

Wine and golf – just not together! My wine passion began as a casual interest that has blossomed into a consuming enthusiasm (pun intended!). The depth and complexity of wine have truly captivated me, and I have immense respect for the sommeliers, wine makers, vineyard managers and chefs I’ve met along my WSET qualification journey. The layers of learning in the world of wine are endless, and I love sharing my discoveries and experiences with others. Same with golf – it’s about enjoying time with others.

In your work or creative process, what concepts are sacred? Which rules have you made, which ones do you follow?

In my work and creative process, I hold a deep belief in the process. Every project, regardless of its scale, requires a series of steps to be followed. The loose structure of these steps often remains consistent, whether I’m planning a birthday party for a six-year-old or managing the development of a complex project. Determination and resilience in adhering to the process and meticulous planning are key to achieving successful outcomes.

I have learned that layers of lessons are built through the process, transforming mistakes into valuable teachings rather than failures. This commitment to the process ensures continuous improvement and success in all my endeavors.
